Your antenna tv never actually disappeared or went

The new antenna pulls in up to 99 percent of the

your location and even some of the popular cable

My channel scanner pulls in about 60 local channels
now - YES - and some of those are your popular cable
channels....
If you are living in the country or rural area the number
of channels available could
vary but in most cases you should get
some channels. I've seen places where your only
option is to get cable
because no antenna channels are
available but you won't know till you hook up that
hd digital antenna

Tax season is slowly winding down and you are
cleaning up but have you ever wondered what
it would be like to run your tax software on a server like
a real company and not have to share
computers and logons ??
Well that day is today, that day has finally come
depending on the setup of your tax software.
The server in question is an affordable microsoft
windows compatible server............
The box comes empty for about $300 to $500 and you
add your own harddrives for another
$300 to $400 or so depending on where you purchase
the harddrives from. Totally up to you...
If you purchase the server box from a reputable
source you can add a 4 year warranty for
just a few more dollars in addition to the 1 year
warranty from the manufacturer.
In addition to your tax software, the server also runs
windows 7 or 10 internally virtually in case you
wanted a standalone windows that is always running.
Back to the tax software. The basic principal is that
all your tax data has to be ported to and
stored on the server and your tax software configured
to run and pull the tax data off of the server
and also tax software must be networkable - and bingo
- multiple users can access and use the tax
software at the same time and change the data or
database.
I have set this up for several of my clients and it works
smoothly with the only big concern being
network and internet speed. On a local network the
software runs well but issues come up when
the server is located outside of the office and only
accessible via internet. Depending on your
internet service provider this where the big bottleneck
is but like anything else, there is always a
workaround which i have found.
So basically you can have users working both in and
out of the office with vpn and no degredation of
performance of your tax software. For the right labor
and installation price, this nice server setup
could be yours.

Please note that Microsoft is dropping support for
Windows 7 in early
2020 so you will have to
eventually make that switch to Windows 10 if you still
want support for
software, devices and
other peripherals... Companies and manufacturers will
be dropping
support for anything that
uses Window 7 as well since Microsoft won't be
supporting it so keep
that in mind...
Windows 11 is out now, want to figure out if your
computer is compatible ?
this could be the end of the road for your pc if you
want to run windows 11
almost like the Apple computer saga where they expire
every few years
For those of you who want to keep your old Windows 7
computer and don't have the disc to
Reinstall your old software you can just upgrade
To Windows 10 which is almost a bare minimum
Windows standard now and keep most of your
Installed software and all of your files without having to
back them up.
The upgrade software will tell you what is
Upgradable or compatible with Windows 10.
I've created a copy of the software upgrade install disc
myself and upgraded my own computers so it does
work.
Windows 11 upgrade is also available but not a
Standard, not always complete and could be buggy.
It bypasses a few things just to install sometimes
So it's not always a complete upgrade....
